I'm glad you posted this -- somehow I missed the notice about her last week.

Think I saw it in at least a half dozen places on facebook and several friends posted about her.

Feels like a major loss, even amidst everything else that's happening.

Desmond Tutu has passed away very recently as well; there can't be many of those who spent their lives fighting apartheid left now. Sadly the generation that has followed seems less than up to the task in front of them.

Still owe you a fanfic; have been writing, and I mean a storm, but it's Soljiwan from a Korean drama called Nevertheless. I do plan on watching Season Five of the new incarnation of Doctor Who in the new year (as well as River Song's 'library' eps ~ and I never miss a chance to watch Blink at the same time :-) ).

If you feel like taking a look, I'd be grateful for the input. It is very different, especially where length is concerned, from my usual stuff but, as elisi said in one editing comment. "It's very you!"

I owe her so much more than I can ever repay.

I saw a post on that...sadly, I am supremely ignorant of these people and have made note to look them up, as I can see how very important they are to so many - on a personal level, as well as a general public one.

Aw, you are so kind! I'm happy to hear you are writing! Even if I am unfamiliar with the fandom. Write away at whatever may tickle your fancy. :D And I definitely approve of 'research' -- like watching Doctor Who. Tis very, very important. :D

Oh my gosh, me too! Actually, most of the people I know are such kind, steady, warm and loving people. I am pressed to find ways to explain my gratitude for them being...THEM. Elisi is one such person. But I very much include you and a few other dear, marvelous humans as well.
